Fiorentina striker Patrick Cutrone has been declared cured of the corona virus after undergoing isolation independently at home.

"Fiorentina is delighted to announce the test results which state that Patrick Cutrone, German Pezzella and Dusan Vlahovic are no longer positive of Covid-19," the club said in a statement.

"On this occasion we would like to thank the medical teams and hospitals who work endlessly to care for those who need medical attention in the difficult situation of Italy and the world."

At Fiorentina himself, Vlahovic became the first player to be infected with the corona virus. Then followed by Cutrone and Pezzella.

Now, the club has confirmed that the trio is declared free from the corona virus.

Through his Instagram account, Vlahovic said that he and his other colleagues had gone through a challenge.

"We won the challenge, even though it is small compared to the challenges facing humanity today! One by one the challenges are won," he said
